2.18 WHO ARE YOU!!!!!
A friend recently brought to my attention that I used to write a lot in this under-comic blog section. And there is one specific point where I stopped writing more than a few sentences. And that point is my cancer diagnosis. I just haven’t been able to get myself to write in here since then, although in my defense I don’t think anybody reads it. It also doesn’t help that I usually have chemo on a Thursday every three weeks and I update Thursday night. Nonetheless I would like to put in more of an effort.
Okay so this page. I feel like this page has really good comedic timing. It may not come across, but I can really picture this as an animation or something. That goo in the first panel also looks really good. Very gooey.
I always have doubts about my ability to make my characters sound different– like obviously everyone in real life talks in their distinct way with very particular word choices, but it’s hard to know if you’re writing that well when all the characters are written by you. But this ghost, who I can’t name until he introduces himself, is the one character that I am confident about writing. He really sounds completely different from everyone else, I think.
